How to Link Google Authenticator to HuobiStep 1: Install Google Authenticator

Download the Google Authenticator app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

Step 2: Log in to Huobi Account

Go to the Huobi website or mobile app and log in to your account.

Step 3: Enable 2-Factor Authentication (2FA)

From the account settings, select "Security" > "2-Factor Authentication."

Step 4: Scan QR Code

Click on "Enable" and scan the provided QR code using the Google Authenticator app.

Step 5: Enter 6-Digit Code

The Google Authenticator app will generate a 6-digit code. Enter this code in the required field on the Huobi website.

Step 6: Verify Phone Number (Optional)

To enhance security, Huobi recommends also verifying your phone number by entering the code sent via SMS.

Step 7: Disable Backup Codes (Optional)

For added protection, Huobi suggests disabling Backup Codes, which can be used to access your account without Google Authenticator.

Step 8: Save and Exit

Once everything is set up, click "Save" and exit.

Additional Notes:

Keep your Google Authenticator app and Huobi account details secure.
If you lose access to your Google Authenticator device, you will need to contact Huobi support to disable 2FA.
Enable 2FA for all of your important accounts to protect against unauthorized access.
