How to Link Google Authenticator with Binance

Step 1: Install Google Authenticator

  • Download and install Google Authenticator on your smartphone:

    • For Android: Google Play Store
    • For iOS: App Store

Step 2: Enable 2FA on Binance

  • Log in to your Binance account.
  • Click on the "Security" tab.
  • Under "Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)", click on "Enable."
  • Choose "Google Authentication (GA)."

Step 3: Scan the QR Code

  • Open Google Authenticator on your smartphone.
  • Click the "+" button in the app.
  • Select "Scan barcode."
  • Scan the QR code displayed on the Binance webpage.

Step 4: Enter the 6-Digit Code

  • The Google Authenticator app will generate a 6-digit code.
  • Enter this code into the "Verification Code" field on the Binance webpage.

Step 5: Backup Recovery Codes

  • Binance will generate 16 recovery codes.
  • Copy and store these codes safely. They can be used to recover your account if you lose your smartphone or Google Authenticator access.

Step 6: Confirm Enablement

  • Once you have entered the 6-digit code and backed up your recovery codes, click on "Enable."

Step 7: Test Your 2FA
