How to Link Bybit to MT5 for Automated Trading

MetaTrader 5 (MT5) is a popular trading platform that allows traders to automate their trading strategies using Expert Advisors (EAs) and indicators. To connect your Bybit account to MT5 and enable automated trading, follow these steps:

1. Enable API Trading on Bybit:

Log into your Bybit account.
Go to "Settings" and click on "API Management."
Click "Create New API Key."
Enter a label for your API key and click "Create."
Copy the API Key and Secret Key.

2. Install the Bybit Connector Plugin in MT5:

Download the Bybit Connector plugin from the Bybit website.
Unzip the downloaded file and copy the DLL file to your MT5 installation directory (typically in "C:\Program Files\MetaTrader 5\MQL5\Libraries").
Restart MT5.

3. Configure the Bybit Connector in MT5:

Open MT5.
Go to "Tools" and click on "Options."
In the "Expert Advisors" tab, check the box next to "Allow WebRequest for link-based scripts."
Click "OK" to save the changes.

4. Add the Bybit Account to MT5:

In MT5, go to "File" and click on "Data Center."

In the "Login" field, enter your Bybit account number.
In the "Password" field, enter the API Key you created in Step 1.

5. Test the Connection:

Go to the "Expert Advisors" tab in the Navigator window.
Right-click and select "Test Bybit Connector."
A message should appear indicating that the connection is successful.

6. Start Automated Trading:

Load the desired EAs or indicators onto the MT5 chart.
Set the necessary parameters for the EAs.
Drag and drop the EAs onto the chart.
Turn on autotrading for the desired EAs.

Once the steps are complete, you can now automate your trading strategies on Bybit using MT5. Remember to monitor your trading performance and make adjustments as needed to optimize your results.
