How to Use Google Authenticator for Bybit1. Install Google Authenticator

Download and install Google Authenticator from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

2. Enable 2FA on Bybit

Log in to your Bybit account and navigate to "Security Settings" under your profile.
Click on the "Enable Two-Factor Authentication" button.
Select "Google Authenticator" from the list of authenticator options.

3. Scan QR Code

Open the Google Authenticator app and scan the QR code displayed on the Bybit screen.
If the QR code is not scanning, enter the "Secret Key" provided by Bybit manually.

4. Verify 6-Digit Code

Retrieve the 6-digit verification code from the Google Authenticator app.
Enter the code in the "Verification Code" field on Bybit.

5. Configure Recovery Codes (Optional)

For increased security, Bybit provides recovery codes that can be used to access your account if you lose your authenticator app.
Click on the "Generate Recovery Codes" button and store these codes securely.

Using Google Authenticator for Login

Once 2FA is enabled, you will be prompted to enter the current 6-digit code from Google Authenticator when logging in to Bybit.
Enter the code into the "Verification Code" field.

Recovering Your Account

If you lose your Google Authenticator app or device, you can recover your Bybit account using your recovery codes.
Follow the recovery instructions and enter one of your recovery codes when prompted.
Your account will be recovered and you can set up 2FA again.
