How to Delete OKX Account
Deleting your OKX account is a permanent process and cannot be reversed. Before proceeding, ensure you have withdrawn all funds and assets from your account and have taken necessary precautions to safeguard your personal data.
Step 1: Log in to Your Account
Visit the OKX website and sign in to your account using your username and password.
Step 2: Navigate to Account Settings
Click on your username in the top-right corner and select "Account Settings."
Step 3: Select "Security Verification"
Under the "Security" tab, click on "Security Verification."
Step 4: Submit a Closure Request
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Account Closure." Follow the on-screen instructions to submit your closure request.
Step 5: Provide Required Information
You will need to provide the following information for account deletion:
- Reason for deletion
- Verification code sent to your registered email
Step 6: Confirm Account Closure
Once you have provided all the required information, confirm your request by clicking on the "Confirm" button.
Step 7: Withdrawal Confirmation
You will receive an email confirming your account deletion request. Follow the instructions in the email to complete the withdrawal process.
Note:
- The account closure process can take up to 48 hours to complete.
- Once your account is deleted, all your personal data and transaction history will be permanently erased.
- You will not be able to access your account or any of its contents after deletion.
