How to Delete OKX Account

Deleting your OKX account is a permanent process and cannot be reversed. Before proceeding, ensure you have withdrawn all funds and assets from your account and have taken necessary precautions to safeguard your personal data.

Step 1: Log in to Your Account

Visit the OKX website and sign in to your account using your username and password.

Step 2: Navigate to Account Settings

Click on your username in the top-right corner and select "Account Settings."

Step 3: Select "Security Verification"

Under the "Security" tab, click on "Security Verification."

Step 4: Submit a Closure Request

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Account Closure." Follow the on-screen instructions to submit your closure request.

Step 5: Provide Required Information

You will need to provide the following information for account deletion:

Reason for deletion
Verification code sent to your registered email

Step 6: Confirm Account Closure

Once you have provided all the required information, confirm your request by clicking on the "Confirm" button.

Step 7: Withdrawal Confirmation

You will receive an email confirming your account deletion request. Follow the instructions in the email to complete the withdrawal process.

Note:

The account closure process can take up to 48 hours to complete.
Once your account is deleted, all your personal data and transaction history will be permanently erased.
You will not be able to access your account or any of its contents after deletion.
