How to Delete Bitfinex Account

Step 1: Log in to your Bitfinex account

Visit the Bitfinex website and enter your login credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to the Account Settings

Hover over your profile icon in the top right corner and select "My Settings" from the dropdown menu.

Step 3: Click on "Close Account"

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the red "Close Account" button.

Step 4: Verify your identity

You will be prompted to re-enter your password and verify your identity through the Bitfinex Telegram group.

Step 5: Submit your closure request

Once your identity is verified, you will need to submit a closure request by providing the following information:

Reason for account closure
Confirmation of funds withdrawal to an external wallet
Agreement to the Bitfinex account closure policy

Step 6: Wait for account closure confirmation

Bitfinex will review your closure request and notify you once your account has been successfully closed. This process may take several days.

Important Points:

You must withdraw all your funds from Bitfinex before closing your account.
Once your account is closed, you will lose access to all your account data.
Bitfinex may request additional information or documentation to process your closure request.
If you have any open support tickets or active orders, they will be closed automatically upon account closure.
