How to create sub-accounts on your main Binance account?
To manage sub-accounts on Binance: log in, go to User Center → Sub-Account, create one with a unique username and email, verify via email, then allocate assets and set permissions.

Accessing Sub-Account Management Interface
1. Log in to your verified Binance account using your credentials and complete any required two-factor authentication steps.
- Navigate to the top-right corner of the Binance homepage and click on your profile icon.
- From the dropdown menu, select User Center.
- In the left sidebar, locate and click on Sub-Account under the Account Management section.
- You will be redirected to the Sub-Account dashboard where all existing sub-accounts are listed and new ones can be created.
Creating a New Sub-Account
1. On the Sub-Account dashboard, click the Create Sub-Account button located prominently at the top right.
- Enter a unique username for the sub-account—this must be between 6 and 20 characters and cannot contain spaces or special symbols.
- Input a valid email address that is not already associated with any Binance account.
- Confirm the email by entering it a second time.
- Click Confirm to submit the request. A verification email will be sent immediately.
Email Verification and Initial Setup
1. Open the inbox of the email address provided during creation and locate the message from Binance titled “Verify Your Sub-Account Email”.
- Click the Verify Email link inside the email, which redirects you to a secure Binance verification page.
- After successful verification, the sub-account status changes to “Active” in the dashboard.
- The system automatically generates a default API key permission level: No API Access.
- You may now assign permissions manually via the Permissions tab, including Spot & Margin Trading, Futures, and Withdrawal rights.
Assigning Asset Allocations
1. Return to the Sub-Account dashboard and find the newly created account in the list.
- Click the Transfer button next to its name.
- Select the main account as the source and choose the asset type (e.g., BTC, USDT, BNB).
- Enter the exact amount to allocate and confirm the transfer using your main account’s withdrawal password.
- Transfers appear instantly in the sub-account’s wallet balance and are reflected in real-time across trading interfaces.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: Can a sub-account log in independently using its own credentials?A1. Yes. Each sub-account has its own login credentials and supports independent two-factor authentication setup after initial email verification.
Q2: Is KYC information shared between the main account and sub-accounts?A2. No. Sub-accounts do not inherit KYC data. Each must undergo separate identity verification if required for specific services like fiat deposits or higher withdrawal limits.
Q3: Can I delete a sub-account that has zero balance and no transaction history?A3. Yes. From the Sub-Account dashboard, click the three-dot menu next to the account and select Delete Sub-Account. Deletion is irreversible and requires confirmation via email and SMS.
Q4: Are API keys generated for sub-accounts visible or usable by the main account holder?A4. API keys created for sub-accounts are isolated. The main account holder cannot view or use them unless explicitly granted access through the sub-account’s own API management interface.
