OKX operates globally but accessibility varies due to differing cryptocurrency regulations; while available in many countries including those in Asia, Europe, and the Americas, access is restricted in some sanctioned nations and specific regions.

1. Countries and regions that can be used
Asia : In Asia, users in Hong Kong, China can use the OKX platform to trade and support Hong Kong dollar (HKD) transactions. Japan and South Korea are also countries with relatively active cryptocurrency trading. OKX supports Korean won (KRW) recharge, and Japanese users can also use the platform within the compliance framework. In addition, although India has uncertainties in the cryptocurrency regulatory environment, OKX still allows Indian users to trade fiat currency through the Indian Rupee (INR).
Europe : OKX provides services in many European countries, such as France, Germany, Spain, Italy and other countries, can use the EUR (EUR) to deposit, withdraw and trade on the OKX platform to meet the needs of European investors for cryptocurrency trading.
America : American users can use USD (USD) to trade fiat currency on OKX, but it should be noted that different states in the United States have different regulatory policies on cryptocurrencies, and some states may have restrictions. Brazil, as one of the largest cryptocurrency markets in Latin America, can use Brazilian real (BRL) to recharge and withdraw fiat currency on OKX.
Other regions : Users in countries such as Australia and Canada can also use the OKX platform, which supports Australian dollar (AUD) and Canadian dollar (CAD) transactions respectively, providing investors in Oceania and North America with a way to participate in the cryptocurrency market.
2. Restricted countries and regions
Some sanctioned countries : Due to international sanctions and other reasons, OKX has restricted its services in countries such as North Korea and Iran. Users in these countries cannot use the OKX platform to conduct transactions normally.
Some European and American countries : In the United States, New York, Washington and other states, the use of OKX is restricted. In Europe, some EU countries such as France and Germany also have restrictions on the access or use of the OKX platform due to local policies and regulations. In addition, countries and regions such as the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and the Bahamas also have restrictions on OKX's access due to financial regulations and other factors.
Specific regions : including Cuba, Syria, and politically stressful areas such as Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk, OKX restricts the use of users in these regions under service agreements. At the same time, users in the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands and the U.S. Virgin Islands are also unable to use OKX's services. In addition, countries such as Bangladesh, Bolivia and Malta are not within OKX's service coverage.
