How to Close a Position in BigONE Margin Trading

Margin trading allows traders to borrow funds from an exchange to increase their potential profits. When a trader closes a margin position, they are essentially returning the borrowed funds to the exchange and closing out the trade.

There are two main ways to close a margin position on BigONE:

1. Market order: A market order is an order to buy or sell an asset at the current market price. When you close a margin position with a market order, the position will be closed immediately at the current market price.
2. Limit order: A limit order is an order to buy or sell an asset at a specified price. When you close a margin position with a limit order, the position will only be closed if the market price reaches the specified price.

Steps to Close a Margin Position on BigONE

1. Log in to your BigONE account.
2. Click on the "Margin" tab.
3. Select the position you want to close.
4. Click on the "Close" button.
5. Choose whether you want to close the position with a market order or a limit order.
6. If you choose a market order, click on the "Confirm" button.
7. If you choose a limit order, enter the price at which you want to close the position and click on the "Confirm" button.

Example

Let's say you have a margin position to buy 1 BTC. The current market price of BTC is $50,000. You want to close the position and take a profit.

To close the position with a market order, you would follow these steps:

1. Log in to your BigONE account.
2. Click on the "Margin" tab.
3. Select the position you want to close.
4. Click on the "Close" button.
5. Click on the "Confirm" button.

The position will be closed immediately at the current market price of $50,000. You will receive the profit from the trade in your BigONE account.
