Accessing the BTC/USD Trading Pair

1. Navigate to the MEXC official website using a supported browser.

2. Log in to your MEXC account or create one if you do not have an existing profile.

3. Click on the Markets tab located in the main navigation bar.

4. Select Spot Markets from the dropdown menu.

5. Use the search bar and type BTC to filter all trading pairs involving Bitcoin.

6. Locate BTC/USDT or BTC/USD depending on your preferred quote currency.

Reading Real-Time Price Data

1. Once on the BTC/USDT market page, observe the large central price display showing the current last traded price.

2. The number is updated in real time and appears in green if the 24-hour change is positive, or red if negative.

3. Below the main price, check the 24-hour high and low values listed beside the price chart.

4. Review the 24-hour trading volume shown next to the pair name — this reflects total BTC transacted in the past day.

5. Hover over the candlestick chart to view exact open, close, high, and low values for any selected timeframe.

Using Advanced Chart Tools

1. Click the Chart button above the order book to expand the full technical analysis interface.

2. Choose timeframes such as 1m, 5m, 15m, 1h, 4h, 1d, or 1w using the toolbar at the top of the chart.

3. Apply indicators like MACD, RSI, Bollinger Bands, or Moving Averages via the Indicators icon.

4. Draw trendlines, Fibonacci retracements, or horizontal support/resistance levels using the drawing tools.

5. Switch between chart types — candlestick, line, area, or Heikin-Ashi — with the style selector.

Monitoring Order Book Depth

1. On the right side of the BTC/USDT market page, locate the Order Book panel labeled Bids (buy orders) and Asks (sell orders).

2. Each row shows price level, amount available, and cumulative total up to that level.

3. Green-highlighted rows indicate aggregated bid volumes; red-highlighted rows reflect ask volumes.

4. Identify liquidity clusters by observing dense concentrations of orders near key price thresholds.

5. Compare the spread — the difference between the best bid and best ask — to assess market tightness.

Checking Historical Price Movements

1. Scroll down below the chart to find the Trade History section listing recent transactions.

2. Each entry displays timestamp, price, quantity, and direction (buy/sell), marked with B or S.

3. Click More to load additional historical trades beyond the default 50 entries.

4. Use the Export function to download trade logs in CSV format for offline analysis.

5. Cross-reference timestamps with known on-chain events or news releases to correlate price action with external catalysts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I view BTC price in fiat currencies other than USDT or USD?A: Yes. MEXC supports BTC/EUR, BTC/GBP, BTC/AUD, and BTC/JPY on select markets. Availability depends on regional licensing and liquidity conditions.

Q: Why does the BTC price differ slightly between MEXC and other exchanges?A: Price variance arises from differences in order book depth, trading volume, fee structures, withdrawal limits, and local regulatory constraints affecting arbitrage efficiency.

Q: Is the BTC price displayed on MEXC adjusted for slippage during market orders?A: No. The displayed price reflects the last executed trade. Slippage occurs only when placing orders and depends on available liquidity at the time of execution.

Q: Does MEXC show BTC funding rates for perpetual contracts alongside spot prices?A: Yes. Funding rates for BTCUSDT perpetual futures are visible under the Futures tab, updated every eight hours, and displayed separately from spot market data.
