How to Check Your BTC Buy Orders on Binance?

Accessing the Order Interface

1. Launch the official Binance mobile application or navigate to the web platform using a verified browser session.

2. Log in with credentials tied to an account that has completed KYC verification and holds active trading permissions.

3. Tap or hover over the “Trade” tab located at the bottom navigation bar on mobile or left sidebar on desktop.

4. Select “Classic”, “Advanced”, or “Margin” mode depending on the order type previously placed—BTC spot buy orders appear under Classic or Advanced interfaces.

5. Locate and click the “Orders” button adjacent to the order book, usually positioned just below the price chart area.

Navigating Order Status Categories

1. Within the Orders panel, two primary sections are visible: “Open Orders” and “Order History”.

2. “Open Orders” displays all BTC buy orders currently active on the order book—these include limit, stop-limit, and trailing stop orders awaiting execution.

3. “Order History” contains records of all executed, canceled, or expired BTC buy orders within the selected time window, defaulting to the past 7 days.

4. Use the date range selector to extend visibility up to 90 days for spot orders or filter by specific BTC trading pairs such as BTC/USDT or BTC/BUSD.

5. Each entry shows the exact timestamp in UTC+0, formatted as YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS, alongside the original order ID generated upon submission.

Verifying Execution Details

1. Click any order row to expand its full metadata, including price, quantity, executed amount, remaining amount, and average fill price.

2. The Status field is rendered in bold green text and may display values such as “Filled”, “Partially Filled”, “Canceled”, or “Expired”.

3. For partially filled orders, the “Executed Quantity” and “Remaining Quantity” fields update in real time with millisecond-level synchronization to the matching engine.

4. Fee details appear under “Fee” column showing exact BTC or quote currency deduction, calculated according to the user’s VIP level and fee tier.

5. A “View Transaction” link redirects to BscScan or Etherscan only if the order triggered an on-chain transfer—this does not apply to standard spot buy orders settled internally.

Using API for Programmatic Checks

1. Developers may call the GET /api/v3/openOrders endpoint with valid API key and signature to retrieve all active BTC buy orders.

2. To fetch historical data, use GET /api/v3/allOrders with symbol=“BTCUSDT” and startTime parameters aligned to UNIX epoch milliseconds.

3. Responses return arrays sorted chronologically ascending—earliest order appears first, enabling deterministic parsing logic.

4. Weighted rate limits apply: openOrders carries weight 40, while allOrders carries weight 30 per request—exceeding thresholds triggers HTTP 429 responses.

5. All timestamps in JSON payloads are expressed in milliseconds since Unix epoch, requiring conversion for human-readable display.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why does my BTC buy order show “New” but never moves to “Partially Filled”?A: This typically indicates insufficient market liquidity at your specified limit price or mismatched order type configuration—market orders bypass this behavior entirely.

Q: Can I see BTC buy orders placed via third-party trading bots on the Binance interface?A: Yes—if the bot uses your API key with “Enable Trading” permission, those orders appear identically to manually placed ones in both Open Orders and Order History.

Q: Is there a way to recover a canceled BTC buy order ID after closing the Orders tab?A: Yes—the order ID remains accessible through the “Order History” section when filtering with “Canceled” status, even if the original session ended.

Q: Do BTC buy orders placed during maintenance windows appear in the Orders interface immediately after service restoration?A: Yes—Binance queues all valid orders received during downtime and processes them sequentially upon resumption; their timestamps reflect actual submission time, not execution time.
