How to change the language on MEXC? (App Settings)
To change language in the MEXC app: tap Profile → Settings → Language, then select from 12 localized options—changes apply instantly across all UI elements except crypto tickers and blockchain names.
Apr 16, 2026 at 01:20 am
Accessing Language Settings in MEXC App
1. Open the MEXC mobile application on your iOS or Android device.
2. Tap the profile icon located in the top-right corner of the home screen.
3. Scroll down and select Settings from the account menu.
4. Locate and tap Language under the General section.
5. A list of supported languages appears, including English, Chinese (Simplified), Korean, Japanese, Spanish, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Turkish, Arabic, Russian, and Portuguese.
Supported Languages and Regional Variants
1. MEXC offers 12 fully localized language interfaces with region-specific terminology where applicable.
2. Chinese interface includes both Simplified and Traditional variants—users selecting “Chinese” are automatically routed based on device system locale.
3. Arabic and Hebrew layouts switch to right-to-left rendering upon selection, preserving UI alignment integrity.
4. Japanese and Korean versions include localized legal disclaimers compliant with local financial regulatory expectations.
5. No language option requires additional download—the full localization bundle is embedded within the app binary.
Behavior After Language Change
1. The interface updates instantly without requiring an app restart or login re-authentication.
2. All menu labels, trading pair names, order book depth indicators, and chart annotations switch to the selected language.
3. Historical trade records and deposit/withdrawal logs retain original timestamps and fiat/crypto symbols but display descriptive fields—such as “Deposit Successful” or “Order Cancelled”—in the new language.
4. Push notifications generated after the change reflect the updated language setting immediately.
5. Two-factor authentication prompts and KYC verification screens adapt their text flow and input field hints accordingly.
Limitations and Constraints
1. Language selection does not affect blockchain network labels—terms like “Ethereum Mainnet”, “BSC”, or “Arbitrum One” remain in English.
2. Third-party widget integrations—including market data feeds from CoinGecko or TradingView—retain their native language unless separately configured within those platforms.
3. API documentation and developer portal content stay in English regardless of app language setting.
4. Customer support chat transcripts default to English unless explicitly requested otherwise during live interaction.
5. Some rare error codes—like “ERR_AUTH_072” or “TX_REJECT_409”—appear in English even when the UI is set to another language.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does changing the app language affect my account security settings?A: No. Language selection is purely a display preference and has no impact on 2FA configuration, withdrawal whitelists, or API key permissions.
Q: Can I set different languages for trading interface and notification center?A: No. MEXC enforces a single global language setting across all app modules—no per-feature language override is available.
Q: Why do some terms like “USDT” or “BTC” remain unchanged after switching language?A: Cryptocurrency tickers follow ISO 4217 and industry-standard naming conventions; they are intentionally preserved in English across all locales for consistency and interoperability.
Q: Is the web version of MEXC synchronized with the app’s language setting?A: No. Web and mobile platforms maintain independent language preferences. Changing one does not auto-update the other.
