How to Change Fund Password on Gate.io

Step 1: Log In to Your Gate.io Account

Visit the Gate.io website and enter your username and password to log in.

Step 2: Access Account Security Settings

Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner.
Select "Account Settings" from the drop-down menu.

Step 3: Navigate to Fund Password Section

On the left-hand sidebar, click on "Security Settings" under the "Account Security" section.
Locate the "Fund Password" sub-section and click on the "Change" button.

Step 4: Verify Your Identity

A security verification window will appear. Select the verification method you wish to use (email or Google Authentication) and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the verification.

Step 5: Enter New Fund Password

Once verification is complete, you will be prompted to enter a new fund password.
The fund password must be 8-20 characters long and contain a combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.

Re-enter the new fund password in the confirmation field.
Ensure that you have entered the password correctly.

Step 7: Click "Submit"
