how to change bitget password
To update your Bitget password, log in, access "Account & Security" settings, provide your old password, create a new password meeting security requirements, and confirm your updates.

- Access the Bitget website (https://www.bitget.com) or mobile app.
- Click on "Sign In" in the upper right corner.
- Enter your registered email address or phone number and password.
- Once logged in, hover over your profile name in the upper right corner and select "Account & Security."
- Click on the "Change Password" option.
- A two-factor authentication (2FA) code will be sent to your registered email address or phone number.
- Enter the code in the provided field to verify your identity.
Create a new, strong password that meets the following requirements:
- Minimum of 8 characters
- Uppercase and lowercase letters
- Numbers
- Symbols
- Re-enter your new password in the confirmation field.
- Click on the "Change Password" button to confirm and save your new password.
- Use a unique password not used for any other accounts.
- Avoid common words or phrases.
- Include special characters (!@#$%^&*) and numbers.
- Consider using a password manager to generate and store secure passwords.
