How to Cancel Crypto.com Leverage

Leverage trading in the cryptocurrency market allows traders to magnify their potential profits, but it also carries increased risks. If you're using leverage on Crypto.com, it's important to understand how to cancel it properly.

Steps to Cancel Crypto.com Leverage:

1. Navigate to Spot Margin Account

  • Log in to your Crypto.com account and go to "Trade" on the top menu.
  • Under "Buy & Sell," click on "Spot."
  • Click on "Margin" tab.

2. Select Position to Cancel

  • A list of your open leverage positions will be displayed.
  • Find the position you want to cancel and click on the "Cancel" button.

3. Confirm Cancellation

  • A confirmation popup will appear.
  • Verify that the position details are correct.
  • Enter your 2FA code and click on "Confirm."

4. Set Leverage to 0x

  • After canceling the position, you need to set your leverage back to 0x to disable it completely.
  • Go to "Settings" (gear icon) in the top right corner.
  • Select "Trade" from the left menu.
  • Under "Spot Margin," set the "Default Leverage" to "0x."

5. Close Remaining Positions (Optional)

  • If you have any other open leverage positions, you'll need to close them manually before you can disable leverage fully.
  • Follow the same steps as in step 2 to cancel each position.

Additional Notes:

  • You can only cancel leverage positions that are currently open.
  • If you have any unrealized profits or losses on the leverage position, you may incur fees by canceling it.
  • It's recommended to close open leverage positions and set your leverage to 0x when you're not actively trading.
  • Always consider the risks of leverage trading and never use more leverage than you can afford to lose.
