How to use Bybit's One-Click Buy? (Credit card)
To use Bybit’s One-Click Buy, log in with 2FA enabled, complete KYC Level 2, add and verify a supported Visa/Mastercard, set it as default, then instantly buy BTC, ETH, USDT, or SOL—fees and rates apply.
Apr 01, 2026 at 04:39 am
Accessing One-Click Buy on Bybit
1. Log in to your Bybit account using verified credentials and ensure two-factor authentication is active for security.
2. Navigate to the top-right corner of the interface and click the Buy Crypto button.
3. Select Credit/Debit Card as the payment method from the available options.
4. Confirm that your region supports card purchases—Bybit restricts this feature in jurisdictions where local regulations prohibit direct fiat-to-crypto card transactions.
5. Ensure your profile has completed KYC Level 2 verification, as One-Click Buy mandates identity confirmation beyond basic registration.
Setting Up Your Preferred Card
1. Click Add Card and enter your card number, expiry date, CVV, and cardholder name exactly as printed.
2. Bybit performs a soft authorization check—this does not charge your card but verifies validity and funding capacity.
3. Once confirmed, the card appears under Saved Cards with masked digits and issuer logo.
4. Set one card as default by toggling the Make Default option—this card will auto-select during future One-Click Buy sessions.
5. Remove outdated or compromised cards manually; Bybit does not store full card data on its servers post-verification.
Executing a One-Click Purchase
1. Choose a cryptocurrency—BTC, ETH, USDT, and SOL are among the most frequently enabled assets for instant card buys.
2. Enter the fiat amount you wish to spend; the interface displays real-time crypto equivalent based on Bybit’s aggregated liquidity pool rates.
3. Review the displayed fees: Bybit applies a fixed processing fee plus a dynamic spread determined by market volatility and card network interchange costs.
4. Click Buy Now—no additional confirmation modal appears if One-Click Buy is enabled and your default card is valid.
5. The transaction processes within seconds; crypto arrives in your Bybit spot wallet immediately upon card network approval.
Security Protocols and Limitations
1. One-Click Buy enforces daily purchase caps tied to your KYC level—Level 2 users face limits between $10,000–$25,000 depending on jurisdiction.
2. Transactions require device binding: only devices previously used for login and verified via SMS or authenticator app can initiate instant buys.
3. Failed attempts trigger temporary lockouts—three consecutive declines disable One-Click Buy for four hours.
4. Chargebacks are non-reversible once crypto is credited; Bybit treats card payments as final settlement per PCI-DSS compliance standards.
5. Geolocation checks run during each session—if GPS or IP indicates a mismatch with your registered country, the flow halts automatically.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I use a corporate credit card for One-Click Buy?Bybit prohibits corporate, prepaid, or virtual cards. Only consumer-grade Visa and Mastercard issued directly by banks are accepted.
Q: Why does my card show “declined” even though it has sufficient balance?Issuing banks may block crypto-related transactions by default. Contact your bank to enable merchant category code (MCC) 6051 for digital currency purchases.
Q: Is the exchange rate locked before I confirm the buy?Yes—the displayed rate remains fixed for 30 seconds after selecting the asset and entering the fiat amount. If the timer expires, the page refreshes with updated pricing.
Q: Can I cancel a One-Click Buy after clicking “Buy Now”?No. The action is irreversible once initiated. Bybit does not provide mid-process cancellation due to real-time settlement architecture with card networks.
