How to buy USDT on KuCoin?

Purchasing USDT on KuCoin requires registration, verification of identity, and recharge of funds, and then purchase through fiat currency or currency transactions, paying attention to transaction security and market risks.

Mar 28, 2025 at 04:47 pm

KuCoin is one of the world's well-known cryptocurrency trading platforms, providing users with convenient digital currency trading services, including USDT trading. The following will provide you with detailed instructions on how to buy USDT on KuCoin.

1. Register and log in to KuCoin Account

First, visit KuCoin's official website (be sure to confirm that it is an official website to prevent the risks of phishing websites). Click the "Register" button on the home page, follow the prompts to fill in your email address, and set a password with high security strength. After completing the information, click "Register". The system will send a verification email to the email address you registered, log in to the email address and find the email address and click the verification link to complete the email address verification. At this point, you have successfully registered a KuCoin account. After that, log in to the KuCoin platform by entering the registered email and password.

2. Complete authentication (KYC)

In order to ensure the security and compliance of transactions, KuCoin requires users to complete identity verification. After logging in, click on the avatar in the upper right corner of the page and select "Identity Authentication". There are generally different levels of basic authentication and advanced authentication. Basic authentication usually requires you to provide basic information such as name, date of birth; advanced authentication may require you to upload photos of your ID card (such as ID card, passport, etc.) and perform facial recognition and other steps. Follow the system prompts to complete the identity verification process step by step. Only by passing the corresponding level of identity verification can you perform transactions of a larger amount.

3. Recharge funds to KuCoin account

Before purchasing USDT, you need to top up funds with your KuCoin account. Click the "Funds" option on the page to enter the Funds Management page. If you want to purchase in legal currency, you can check the fiat currency recharge channels supported by the platform, such as some regions support bank transfers, third-party payments, etc., and complete the recharge process according to the guidelines. If you already have other digital currencies and want to exchange USDT through digital currencies, you can choose "Recharge" and select the type of digital currency you want to recharge (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.) on the pop-up page. The system will generate the recharge address of the currency for you and transfer the corresponding digital currency in your other wallet to this address. When transferring, be sure to carefully check the address information to avoid asset losses caused by transfer errors.

4. Purchase USDT

After the funds arrive, click "Trade" above the page and select "Fire Currency Trading" or "Coin Currency Trading" (if you purchase fiat currency transactions in legal currency, use digital currency to exchange for coin currency transactions).
  • Franchise transaction: On the fiat currency transaction page, select "I want to buy", select "USDT" in the transaction pair, and then select the appropriate merchant (you can refer to the merchant's reputation score, transaction volume, etc.), enter the quantity or amount of USDT you want to purchase, click "Purchase USDT", and complete the payment according to the payment method provided by the merchant (be careful not to mention sensitive digital currency related words in the notes and other information when making payment, so as notes and payment will not be blocked). After payment is completed, click "I have paid", wait for the merchant to confirm the receipt and release the USDT to your KuCoin account.

  • Coin trading: On the Coin trading page, enter "USDT" in the search box, find the corresponding trading pair (such as BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT, etc., select the corresponding trading pair according to the type of digital currency you recharged to your account), and enter the trading interface. You can select "Limit Order" (set the purchase price you expect to make a pending order transaction) or "Market Order" (transaction immediately at the current market price), enter the quantity of USDT you want to purchase, and click "Buy USDT" to complete the transaction after confirming that, and the purchased USDT will be immediately credited to your KuCoin account funds wallet.

When purchasing USDT on KuCoin, be sure to pay attention to transaction security and carefully check each operation information. If you encounter any problems, you can contact KuCoin's official customer service for help at any time. At the same time, the cryptocurrency market has high risks and uncertainties, and investment decisions should be made with caution.
