In the field of digital currency trading, USDT (Tether) is a widely used stablecoin with increasing trading demand. As a well-known cryptocurrency trading platform, Coinbase provides users with convenient USDT buying and selling channels. The following will introduce the specific procedures for buying and selling USDT on Coinbase.

Coinbase Registration and Account Settings

First, visit the official Coinbase website or download the Coinbase application. Click the 'Register' button, follow the prompts to fill in your email address, set your password, and complete the identity verification steps. This usually includes providing personal information and uploading identity documents to ensure that the account meets regulatory requirements and is safe. After completing the registration and login, enter the account settings page and bind a valid payment method, such as a bank account or debit card, so that funds can be recharged in the future.

Recharge funds to Coinbase account

After logging into your Coinbase account, click the menu icon in the upper left corner of the page and select the 'Wallet' option. In the wallet page, find the 'Recharge' button, click and select the payment method you bound previously, enter the recharge amount, and submit the recharge request after confirming that it is correct. Depending on the payment method, the recharge time varies. Bank transfers may take several working days, while debit card recharges are usually relatively fast.

Buy USDT

After the funds arrive, enter 'USDT' in the search bar on the Coinbase homepage to find the Tether option. Click to enter the USDT transaction page, select the 'Purchase' option on the page, enter the quantity or amount of USDT you want to purchase, and confirm the transaction details, including handling fees and other information. Click 'Preview Purchase', check the information again, click 'Confirm Purchase' to complete the USDT purchase operation. After the purchase is successful, USDT will be displayed in your Coinbase wallet.

USDT for sale

If you want to sell your USDT, you can also find the USDT assets on the Coinbase wallet page, click to enter and select the 'Sale' option. Enter the amount of USDT to be sold and the system will automatically calculate the amount of fiat currency available. Confirm the sales details, including handling fees, etc., click 'Preview for sale', and click 'Confirm for sale' after correct. After the sale is completed, the corresponding funds will be deposited into the payment method associated with your Coinbase account, and you can choose to withdraw cash to your bank account and other operations.
When buying and selling USDT on Coinbase, you must strictly follow the platform rules and relevant laws and regulations, and operate every step carefully to ensure the safety of funds and the smooth progress of transactions.
