How to buy Bitcoin with USDT on Binance?

After registering and completing identity verification on Binance, recharge USDT and purchase Bitcoin with USDT through spot transactions. Pay attention to market volatility and legal compliance risks.

Mar 28, 2025 at 04:53 pm

In the field of digital currency trading, Bitcoin (BTC) has always attracted much attention, and Tether (USDT), as a widely used stablecoin, is often used to purchase other digital currencies such as Bitcoin. As a world-renowned cryptocurrency trading platform, Binance provides users with convenient channels for USDT to purchase Bitcoin. Next, we will explain in detail the specific steps to buy Bitcoin using USDT on Binance.

1. Register and log in to the Binance account

If you don’t have a Binance account yet, you must first go to the Binance official website (be sure to confirm that it is an official website and beware of phishing website). Click the "Register" button on the home page, follow the prompts to fill in a valid email address, and set a password with high security strength. After completing the registration, activate the account through email verification, and then you can use the registered email and password to log in to the Binance platform.

2. Complete authentication

Binance requires users to authenticate to ensure transaction security and compliance. After logging in, click on the avatar in the upper right corner of the page and select "Identity Authentication". According to the prompts, basic authentication, intermediate authentication and other steps are completed in turn. Usually, uploading ID card photos (front and back), facial recognition and other operations are required. Only by completing the corresponding level of identity verification can subsequent transaction operations be carried out, and different levels of authentication correspond to different transaction limits.

3. Recharge USDT to Binance Account

In the Binance interface, click the "Funds" tab and select "Recharge". In the pop-up recharge page, select "USDT" under the "Stable Coin" category. At this time, multiple recharge methods will be displayed, such as transfer and recharge through other digital currency wallets, purchasing recharge with fiat currency (if the platform supports it and complies with local regulations), etc. If you already have USDT in other wallets, copy the USDT recharge address provided by Binance and go to your wallet for transfer. Be sure to carefully check the address information when transferring money to avoid loss of funds caused by transfer errors.

4. Buy Bitcoin with USDT on Binance

After USDT is recharged, click "Transaction" above the Binance interface and select "Spot". In the transaction pair search box on the left side of the trading page, enter "BTC/USDT" to find the transaction pair between Bitcoin and Tether. In the trading interface, you can select "market order", that is, you can immediately trade according to the current market price; you can also select "limit order", and set the price you want to buy Bitcoin by yourself, and the transaction will be automatically completed when the market price reaches the set price. Enter the amount of Bitcoin you want to buy (priced in USDT), and after confirming that it is correct, click "Buy BTC" to complete the transaction.
After the transaction is completed, the Bitcoin you purchased will be stored in the "spot wallet" of your Binance account. However, it should be noted that the digital currency market fluctuates violently and prices change frequently. Investment decisions should be based on one's own risk tolerance and investment goals. At the same time, cryptocurrency transactions may have legal compliance risks in some areas. Please fully understand the relevant local laws and regulations before trading.
