Leveraged trading is a trading strategy that allows traders to magnify their profits by borrowing funds from a broker. This can be a risky strategy, but it can also be very rewarding if done correctly. AscendEX is a cryptocurrency exchange that offers leveraged trading on a variety of assets. However, there may be times when you need to cancel a leveraged trade.
Steps to Cancel a Leveraged Trade on AscendEX- Log in to your AscendEX account.
- Click on the "Margin" tab.
- Select the "Positions" tab.
- Find the leveraged trade that you want to cancel.
- Click on the "Cancel" button.
- Confirm the cancellation.
There are a few things to keep in mind when cancelling a leveraged trade:
- You may lose money if you cancel a leveraged trade. This is because the market may have moved against you since you entered the trade.
- You may have to pay a cancellation fee. AscendEX charges a cancellation fee of 0.05% of the trade value.
- You may not be able to cancel a leveraged trade if it is already in liquidation.
If you are not sure whether you want to cancel a leveraged trade, you can consider the following alternatives:
- Reduce your leverage. This will reduce the amount of risk that you are taking on.
- Close your position partially. This will allow you to take some of your profits while still leaving the rest of your position open.
- Wait for the market to move in your favor. If the market moves in your favor, you may be able to close your position for a profit.
Cancelling a leveraged trade on AscendEX is a relatively simple process. However, it is important to be aware of the risks involved before you cancel a trade. If you are not sure whether you should cancel a trade, you can consider the alternatives listed above.
