How to apply for a Bybit Card? (Crypto debit)
To qualify for the Bybit Card, users need a KYC Level 2–verified account, 30+ days of activity, residence in a supported region (e.g., EEA, UK, Singapore), no compliance issues, and a positive crypto balance.
Mar 31, 2026 at 02:20 am
Eligibility Requirements for the Bybit Card
1. Users must hold an active and fully verified Bybit account with KYC Level 2 completed.
2. A minimum 30-day account history is required before application submission.
3. Applicants must reside in a supported jurisdiction—currently including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and select countries in Latin America and Southeast Asia.
4. No open disputes, frozen assets, or unresolved compliance flags on the Bybit account.
5. The user must maintain a positive balance in at least one supported cryptocurrency wallet on the platform, such as BTC, ETH, or USDT.
Navigating the Application Interface
1. Log into your Bybit account via desktop or mobile app and go to the “Finance” section.
2. Select “Bybit Card” from the dropdown menu under “Products”.
3. Click “Apply Now” and confirm your region matches a supported location.
4. Review the card terms, fee structure, and data usage policy before proceeding.
5. Upload a clear, color photo of a government-issued ID and a recent selfie holding that same ID.
Funding and Activation Process
1. After approval—which typically takes 1–3 business days—the virtual card is issued instantly within the Bybit app.
2. Physical card delivery begins only after successful verification and may take 7–12 business days depending on regional logistics.
3. Users must fund the card by converting crypto to fiat via Bybit’s built-in exchange or by transferring stablecoins to the designated card wallet.
4. The system automatically converts selected crypto to EUR, GBP, or USD at real-time rates when a transaction occurs.
5. Activation requires entering a 6-digit PIN set during the onboarding flow and completing a small test transaction.
Spending Limits and Fee Structure
1. Daily spending limit starts at €5,000 for virtual cards and increases to €10,000 upon physical card activation.
2. ATM withdrawal limits are capped at €500 per day and €1,500 per month.
3. A 1.5% conversion fee applies when spending in currencies other than the card’s base fiat currency.
4. Virtual card issuance is free; physical card production incurs a one-time €12.99 fee.
5. Inactivity fees of €2.99 are charged monthly if no transactions occur for over 90 days.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I use the Bybit Card to withdraw cash at any ATM?Yes, but only at ATMs displaying the Mastercard logo. Withdrawals outside supported regions may incur additional network or local bank fees.
Q: Is my crypto balance protected while funds are linked to the card?Yes. Funds remain under your control in non-custodial wallets until converted and spent. Bybit does not hold or manage card-linked balances as custodial assets.
Q: What happens if my Bybit account gets suspended after card activation? The card is immediately deactivated. All pending authorizations are declined, and no further conversions or transactions are permitted until account status is restored.
Q: Can I assign multiple virtual cards to one Bybit account? No. Each verified Bybit account is entitled to exactly one virtual card and one physical card at any given time.
