Step-by-Step Guide to Resetting Exodus Wallet

Step 1: Back Up Your Wallet

Export your wallet's 12-word secret recovery phrase.
Store this phrase securely, as restoring your wallet requires it.

Step 2: Uninstall Exodus Wallet

For mobile: Go to your device's Settings, select Apps, and then uninstall Exodus.
For desktop: Drag and drop the Exodus app icon to your Trash or Recycle Bin.

Step 3: Install Exodus Again

Download the latest version of Exodus from the official website.
Install the wallet and follow the setup process.

Step 4: Enter Your Recovery Phrase

When prompted, enter your 12-word recovery phrase.
Ensure that you enter it exactly as exported in Step 1.

Step 5: Select Your Profile

Choose the profile you wish to restore. If you had multiple profiles, all of them will be available.
Select the one containing the assets you want to retrieve.

Step 6: Verify Your Password (Optional)

If you had set a password for your wallet, you will be prompted to enter it.
If you forgot your password, you will need to create a new one.

Step 7: Reset Complete
