3. Enable Ethereum Staking in Ledger Live:

  • Open Ledger Live and navigate to the "Staking" section.
  • Select "Ethereum" from the list of supported cryptocurrencies.
  • Click "Enable Staking" and follow the prompts to confirm your decision.

4. Choose a Validator:

  • A list of available validators will appear.
  • Research different validators based on factors such as stake size, fees, and performance. Select the validator you want to stake with.

5. Stake Your ETH:

  • Enter the amount of ETH you wish to stake and click "Continue."
  • Confirm the details on the transaction summary screen and click "Stake."
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to approve the transaction on your Ledger Nano X.

6. Track Your Rewards:

  • You can track your rewards and adjust your staking preferences through Ledger Live.

Additional Notes:

  • The minimum staking amount is 32 ETH.
  • Staked ETH is locked for an indefinite period. It may take 12-24 hours or longer to become available again.
  • Stakers earn rewards in the form of new ETH. The reward rate fluctuates based on network conditions.
  • Ledger charges a small fee for staking operations. The fee is typically around 0.15%.
  • You can unstake your ETH at any time, but you will need to wait for the unbonding period (currently 28 days) before you can access your funds.
