What is the issuance and circulation of THENA (THE) coins?
THENA (THE) coins, initially distributed through an ICO, are currently in circulation with a burn mechanism ensuring token scarcity and price stability.
Dec 07, 2024 at 02:23 am

Issuance and Circulation of THENA (THE) Coins
1. Initial Token Distribution
THENA (THE) coins were first distributed through an initial coin offering (ICO) in March 2022. The ICO offered a total of 1 billion THE coins, with 600 million allocated to the public sale and the remaining 400 million retained by the project team and ecosystem fund. The ICO successfully raised over $50 million from global investors.
2. Tokenomics and Allocation
The total supply of THE coins is capped at 10 billion, distributed as follows:
- Public Sale: 60% (6 billion THE)
- Ecosystem Fund: 20% (2 billion THE)
- Team and Advisors: 10% (1 billion THE)
- Market Making and Liquidity: 5% (500 million THE)
- Private Sale: 3% (300 million THE)
- Strategic Partnerships: 2% (200 million THE)
3. Circulation and Burn Mechanism
Currently, approximately 4 billion THE coins are in circulation, representing 40% of the total supply. The remaining 6 billion THE coins are held by the project team and ecosystem fund for future development and ecosystem growth.
To ensure token scarcity and maintain price stability, THENA employs a unique burn mechanism. A portion of the revenue generated from platform services and partnerships is used to purchase and burn THE coins, effectively reducing the circulating supply and increasing the value of remaining coins.
4. Staking and Rewards
THE coin holders can earn passive income through staking their tokens in the THENA platform. By staking THE coins, users contribute to the network's security and efficiency. Stakers are rewarded with additional THE coins as a form of compensation for securing the network and supporting its growth.
5. Listing on Exchanges
THENA (THE) coins are currently listed on several reputable cryptocurrency exchanges, including Huobi, KuCoin, Gate.io, and Bittrex. These listings provide liquidity and facilitate easier trading and accessibility for users worldwide. The availability of THE coins on major exchanges enhances their credibility and attracts a broader investor base.
6. Future Token Distribution
The distribution of the remaining 6 billion THE coins will be managed by the project team and ecosystem fund. These coins may be used for various purposes, including:
- Funding new platform development initiatives
- Supporting strategic partnerships and collaborations
- Incentivizing user adoption and community growth
- Providing liquidity and market stability
- Reserving for potential future burns or distributions
The future token distribution will be carefully planned and executed to ensure the long-term growth and sustainability of the THENA ecosystem.
