What is the issuance amount of RENDER coins?
The total issuance amount of RENDER coins is 500 million, with 350 million released during the 2018 public token sale.
Dec 04, 2024 at 12:04 pm
RENDER is a decentralized GPU rendering network that allows users to rent out their computing power to render 3D graphics and simulations. The network's native token, RNDR, is used to pay for rendering services and to reward node operators who provide computing power.
The total issuance amount of RENDER coins is 500,000,000. Of this amount, 350,000,000 RNDR tokens were distributed through a public token sale in 2018, and the remaining 150,000,000 RNDR tokens are reserved for the team, advisors, and future development.
The issuance amount of RENDER coins is limited to 500,000,000, which means that there will never be more than this number of RNDR tokens in circulation. This limited issuance amount helps to ensure the long-term value of RNDR tokens by preventing inflation.
Steps on How to Determine the Issuance Amount of RENDER Coins- Check the RENDER whitepaper.
The RENDER whitepaper is the primary source of information about the project, including the tokenomics of RNDR. The whitepaper can be found on the RENDER website at https://rendertoken.com/whitepaper.
- Read through the RENDER tokenomics.
The RENDER tokenomics section of the whitepaper describes the issuance amount of RNDR coins, as well as the distribution of these coins.
- Confirm the issuance amount with other sources.
To confirm the issuance amount of RENDER coins, check other sources such as the RENDER website, the RENDER Discord server, or the RENDER Telegram group.
Additional InformationIn addition to the issuance amount, the RENDER tokenomics also include the following information:
Token distribution: The RENDER token distribution is as follows:
- Public token sale: 350,000,000 RNDR tokens (70%)
- Team: 50,000,000 RNDR tokens (10%)
- Advisors: 10,000,000 RNDR tokens (2%)
- Future development: 90,000,000 RNDR tokens (18%)
- Token burn: RENDER tokens will be burned periodically to reduce the total supply and increase the value of the remaining tokens. The burn rate will be determined by the RENDER community.
The issuance amount and tokenomics of RENDER are designed to ensure the long-term success of the project. The limited issuance amount will help to prevent inflation, and the token distribution will ensure that all stakeholders have a vested interest in the success of RENDER.
