What is the issuance amount of Galxe coins?
The total issuance amount of Galxe coins (GAL) is 1 billion (1,000,000,000), ensuring scarcity and value within the decentralized Galxe ecosystem.
Nov 25, 2024 at 05:04 am
Galxe coin (GAL) is the native utility token of the Galxe platform, a decentralized ecosystem that curates and rewards on-chain and off-chain achievements in the blockchain industry. GAL plays a crucial role in powering the platform's features, including user reputation, community building, and data analytics.
Issuance Amount:The total issuance of Galxe coins (GAL) is 1 billion (1,000,000,000). This fixed supply ensures the scarcity and value of the token.
Distribution:The distribution of GAL tokens was designed to incentivize early adopters, reward active users, and support the long-term growth of the Galxe ecosystem. The token distribution is as follows:
1. Seed Funding: 10% (100,000,000 GAL) allocated to early investors and contributors.
2. Team and Advisors: 15% (150,000,000 GAL) allocated to the Galxe team and advisors.
3. Protocol Rewards: 50% (500,000,000 GAL) allocated as rewards for platform users, based on their activities, contributions, and achievements.
4. Community Incentives: 10% (100,000,000 GAL) allocated for community-driven initiatives, grants, and events.
5. Ecosystem Growth: 15% (150,000,000 GAL) allocated to support the development and adoption of the Galxe ecosystem, including partnerships, integrations, and marketing.
Vesting Schedule:- Seed Funding: 10% released immediately, remaining 90% vested over 12 months.
- Team and Advisors: 20% released immediately, remaining 80% vested over 24 months.
- Protocol Rewards: No vesting schedule.
- Community Incentives: 10% released immediately, remaining 90% vested over 12 months.
- Ecosystem Growth: 20% released immediately, remaining 80% vested over 24 months.
The issuance amount, distribution, and vesting schedule of Galxe coins (GAL) were carefully designed to create a sustainable and equitable ecosystem that rewards active users, supports community growth, and fosters the adoption of blockchain technology. With a limited supply and a well-defined distribution plan, GAL tokens are poised to play a significant role in the future of the Galxe platform and the broader blockchain industry.
