LQTY Tokenomics- Total Supply: 100 million LQTY
- Circulating Supply: 68 million LQTY
- Max Supply: 100 million LQTY
LQTY is used to collateralize loans on the Liquity protocol. Users can deposit ETH into the protocol and borrow up to 50% of the value of their ETH in LQTY. The LQTY borrowed can then be used to purchase other assets or for any other purpose.
When a user repays their loan, they receive back their ETH and any remaining LQTY that they borrowed. If the value of the ETH deposited falls below 50% of the value of the LQTY borrowed, the user will be liquidated and their ETH will be sold to repay the loan.
