How Much Is The Amount of ECOMI (OMI) Coins Issued?

ECOMI (OMI) is a digital currency used to power the VeVe digital collectibles platform. OMI is an ERC-20 token built on the Ethereum blockchain. It is the native token of the VeVe ecosystem and is used for various transactions within the platform, such as purchasing digital collectibles, paying for in-app purchases, and participating in governance decisions.

The total supply of ECOMI (OMI) coins is 750 billion. Out of this, 250 billion OMI tokens were allocated to the VeVe ecosystem, while the remaining 500 billion were burned. The 250 billion OMI tokens allocated to the VeVe ecosystem were further distributed as follows:

  • Team and Advisors: 20% (50 billion OMI)
  • Private Sale: 15% (37.5 billion OMI)
  • Public Sale: 20% (50 billion OMI)
  • Ecosystem Fund: 25% (62.5 billion OMI)
  • Marketing and Operations: 15% (37.5 billion OMI)
  • Reserve: 5% (12.5 billion OMI)

The OMI tokens allocated to the team and advisors were vested over a period of 24 months, with 10% released upfront and the remaining 90% released monthly. The private sale tokens were also vested over a period of 24 months, with 25% released upfront and the remaining 75% released quarterly. The public sale tokens were not subject to any vesting period.

The ecosystem fund tokens are used to support the development and growth of the VeVe ecosystem. These tokens can be used to fund new projects, partnerships, and initiatives that align with the long-term goals of the platform.

The marketing and operations tokens are used to fund the marketing and promotional activities of the VeVe platform. These tokens can be used to raise awareness of the platform, attract new users, and build a strong community around the project.

The reserve tokens are held by the VeVe team and are used to provide stability to the OMI token price. These tokens can be used to buy back OMI tokens from the market if the price falls below a certain level.

The current circulating supply of OMI is approximately 200 billion tokens. This number is expected to increase over time as more OMI tokens are released from vesting and used for various transactions within the VeVe ecosystem.
