How to return BitFlyer full-position leverage
To return full-position leverage on BitFlyer, adjust the leverage ratio to zero, close open positions, repay borrowed funds, confirm the repayment, and wait for confirmation that the transaction is complete.

BitFlyer, Japan's leading cryptocurrency exchange, offers various trading options, including full-position leverage. This strategy allows traders to amplify their potential returns by borrowing funds from the exchange. However, it's crucial to understand how to return full-position leverage to avoid potential risks and ensure a smooth trading experience.
Steps to Return Full-Position Leverage:1. Adjust the Leverage Ratio:- Navigate to the "Trading" tab on the BitFlyer website or mobile app.
- Select the "Full-Position Leverage" tab.
- Adjust the leverage ratio to "0" or "OFF."
By setting the leverage ratio to zero, you effectively return the borrowed funds to BitFlyer. This releases your obligation to repay the loan and terminates the full-position leverage strategy.
2. Close Open Positions:- Identify all open positions associated with the full-position leverage strategy.
- Click on the "Positions" tab in the trading interface.
- Close each open position by clicking on the "Close Position" button.
Open positions are active trades that are subject to the leverage ratio. Closing these positions ensures that no borrowed funds are outstanding and eliminates the risk of margin calls.
3. Repay the Borrowed Funds:- Verify your available balance in the "Account" section of the trading interface.
- Calculate the total amount of borrowed funds by multiplying the leverage ratio by your initial deposit.
- Transfer the calculated amount of funds from your available balance to the "Repayment" tab in the full-position leverage section.
Repaying the borrowed funds is essential to fulfill your obligation to BitFlyer and avoid any potential penalties or restrictions.
4. Confirm the Repayment:- Once you have transferred the funds to the "Repayment" tab, click the "Submit" button to confirm the repayment.
- BitFlyer will process your repayment request, and the borrowed funds will be deducted from your available balance.
Confirming the repayment ensures that the transaction is completed and the full-position leverage strategy is fully terminated.
5. Wait for Confirmation:- The repayment process typically takes a few hours to complete.
- Monitor your account balance to ensure that the borrowed funds have been deducted and your full-position leverage status is clear.
Allowing sufficient time for confirmation provides peace of mind and avoids any uncertainties regarding the repayment status.
Additional Information:- It's recommended to return full-position leverage promptly to avoid unnecessary interest charges and exposure to market fluctuations.
- BitFlyer charges an interest rate on borrowed funds, which can vary based on market conditions.
- Understand the risks associated with full-position leverage and trade responsibly.
