How to Open Leverage on the Bitget Mobile VersionIntroduction:

Leverage trading is a powerful tool that allows traders to amplify their potential profits by borrowing funds from the exchange. However, it is also important to remember that leverage can magnify losses as well as gains. Therefore, it is critical to understand how to use leverage responsibly before engaging in this type of trading.

This guide will provide step-by-step instructions on how to open leverage on the Bitget mobile version.

Step 1: Create an Account and Verify Your Identity

Before you can open leverage, you must first create an account with Bitget. You can do this by downloading the Bitget app from the App Store or Google Play and following the on-screen instructions.

Once you have created an account, you will need to verify your identity. This is a standard procedure that is required by most exchanges. You can verify your identity by providing a government-issued ID and a proof of address.

Step 2: Fund Your Account

Once your account has been verified, you will need to fund it with crypto. You can do this by depositing crypto from another exchange or by purchasing crypto with a credit or debit card.

Step 3: Activate Leverage

Once you have funded your account, you can activate leverage. To do this, tap on the "Trade" tab and then select the "Margin" option.

On the margin trading page, you will see a list of available trading pairs. Select the trading pair you want to trade and then tap on the "Leverage" button.

A pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm the amount of leverage you want to use. Enter the desired amount and then tap on the "Confirm" button.

Step 4: Open a Leverage Trade

Once you have activated leverage, you can open a leverage trade. To do this, tap on the "Buy" or "Sell" button.

A pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm the trade details. Review the trade details and then tap on the "Confirm" button to execute the trade.

Step 5: Manage Your Leverage Position

Once you have opened a leverage trade, you will need to manage it carefully. You can do this by monitoring the trade's progress and adjusting the leverage as needed.

To monitor the trade's progress, tap on the "Positions" tab. This will show you a list of all of your open positions.

To adjust the leverage, tap on the position you want to adjust and then tap on the "Leverage" button. A pop-up window will appear asking you to enter the new leverage amount. Enter the desired amount and then tap on the "Confirm" button.

Tips for Using Leverage:
  • Start with a small amount of leverage until you become more comfortable.
  • Do not use more leverage than you can afford to lose.
  • Monitor your trades closely and adjust the leverage as needed.
  • Leverage can magnify both profits and losses, so use it carefully.
