How to Open a CoinW Contract Account: A Comprehensive Guide
1. Navigate to the CoinW Website
Begin by visiting the official CoinW website at www.coinw.com. Once the website opens, hover over the "Contracts" tab located at the top of the page. From the drop-down menu, select "Open Account" to initiate the process of creating a dedicated contract trading account.
2. Register or Log In to CoinW
If you already have a CoinW account, click the "Log In" button in the top right corner. Enter your registered email address or mobile number, along with your password. If you are new to CoinW, click the "Register" button to create an account. You will need to provide basic information such as your email address, mobile number, and a strong password.
3. Complete KYC Verification (Optional)
While it is not mandatory to complete KYC verification, it is highly recommended to enhance your account security and access higher withdrawal limits. Navigate to the "Account & Security" section from the drop-down menu under your profile picture. Click on "KYC Verification" and follow the on-screen instructions to submit your identity documents.
4. Choose the Contract Type
CoinW offers perpetual and delivery contracts. Perpetual contracts, also known as inverse contracts, are popular for their low fees and high leverage. Unlike perpetual contracts, delivery contracts have a fixed expiry date and result in the settlement of the underlying asset. Choose the contract type that aligns with your trading strategy and risk tolerance.
5. Activate the Contract Account
Once you have chosen the contract type, you will need to activate the account. Click the "Activate Now" button and transfer funds from your main CoinW account or a third-party wallet to your contract account. You can transfer cryptocurrencies like USDT, BTC, or ETH.
6. Set Trading Parameters
Once your contract account is activated, you can start trading. Set appropriate trading parameters such as the leverage, margin mode (isolated or cross), and risk management tools (such as stop-loss and take-profit orders). Carefully consider the amount of leverage you use, as it magnifies both your potential profits and losses.
7. Fund the Contract Account
Transfer sufficient funds from your main CoinW account or a third-party wallet to your contract account. The amount you transfer will determine your trading capacity and the size of positions you can open.
8. Start Margin Trading on CoinW
With your contract account funded and trading parameters set, you can start margin trading on CoinW. Carefully monitor market conditions, manage your risk exposure, and employ sound trading strategies to maximize your chances of success.
