How to Close a Contract at KuCoin
KuCoin is a popular cryptocurrency exchange that offers a variety of trading options, including futures contracts. Futures contracts are agreements to buy or sell an asset at a set price on a future date. If you have an open futures contract and you want to close it, there are a few steps you need to follow.
1. Go to the KuCoin futures trading page
The first step is to go to the KuCoin futures trading page. You can do this by clicking on the "Futures" tab at the top of the KuCoin homepage.
2. Find the contract you want to close
Once you are on the futures trading page, you will need to find the contract you want to close. You can do this by scrolling through the list of contracts or by using the search bar.
3. Click on the "Close" button
Once you have found the contract you want to close, click on the "Close" button. A pop-up window will appear.
4. Enter the number of contracts you want to close
In the pop-up window, you will need to enter the number of contracts you want to close. You can also choose to close all of your open contracts for that particular asset.
5. Click on the "Confirm" button
Once you have entered the number of contracts you want to close, click on the "Confirm" button. The contract will be closed and the funds will be returned to your KuCoin account.
6. Check your account balance
After you have closed the contract, you should check your KuCoin account balance to make sure that the funds have been returned. You can do this by clicking on the "Account" tab at the top of the KuCoin homepage.
7. Withdraw your funds
If you want to withdraw the funds from your KuCoin account, you can do so by clicking on the "Withdraw" tab at the top of the KuCoin homepage.

- If you have any open orders for the contract you want to close, you will need to cancel them before you can close the contract.
- You can also close a contract by using the "Close All" button on the futures trading page. This will close all of your open contracts for that particular asset.
