How to close a BitMart contract

How to Close a BitMart Contract

5 Steps to Close a BitMart Contract
- Log in to your BitMart account.
- Select the "Contracts" tab.
- Find the contract you want to close.
- Click on the "Close" button.
- Confirm your order.
Understanding the Order Types
When you close a contract, you can choose from two different order types:
- Market order: A market order is an order to buy or sell a contract at the current market price. Market orders are typically executed immediately.
- Limit order: A limit order is an order to buy or sell a contract at a specified price. Limit orders are not executed until the market price reaches the specified price.
Set the Price and Quantity
When you place an order to close a contract, you need to specify the price and quantity. The price is the price at which you want to close the contract. The quantity is the number of contracts you want to close.
Choose the Order Type
Once you have set the price and quantity, you need to choose the order type. If you want to close the contract immediately, you can choose a market order. If you want to wait for the market price to reach a certain level before closing the contract, you can choose a limit order.
Confirm Your Order
Once you have chosen the order type, you need to confirm your order. To do this, click on the "Confirm" button. Your order will then be submitted to the market.
Monitor Your Order
Once you have submitted your order, you can monitor its status on the "Orders" tab. Your order will be filled when the market price reaches the specified price (for limit orders) or when the market price is equal to the specified price (for market orders).
Canceling an Order
If you change your mind about closing a contract, you can cancel your order before it is filled. To do this, click on the "Cancel" button next to your order. Your order will then be canceled and you will not be charged any fees.
