Contract trading is a type of leveraged trading that allows traders to speculate on the price movements of an underlying asset. It is a popular way to both profit from and hedge against price fluctuations. If you close your leveraged position in time, you have a high probability to make profit, that would be a great experience in contract trading

This guide will provide a step-by-step guide on how to close a contract trading position on Bitget.

  • Once you have confirmed your order, your position will be closed.
  • Any open limit orders that you have for that contract will also be canceled.
Tips
  • When closing a contract trading position, it is important to consider the following:
  • The current market price of the underlying asset.
  • The amount of profit or loss you have made on the position.
  • The amount of risk you are willing to take.
  • It is also important to remember that while contract trading can be profitable, it can also be risky. Always use caution and risk management strategies when trading contracts.
