BNB Futures how to participate in competitions? (Event Guide)
To join Binance’s BNB Futures competition, users need KYC Level 2, ≥0.1 BNB in their futures wallet, and 5+ BNB perpetual trades in 30 days—U.S., Canada, Japan, and Singapore residents are excluded.
Mar 14, 2026 at 07:20 pm
Eligibility Requirements
1. Users must have a verified Binance account with KYC Level 2 completed.
2. A minimum of 0.1 BNB must be held in the user’s futures wallet at the time of registration.
3. Users must have placed at least five BNB perpetual futures trades within the past 30 days.
4. Accounts flagged for abnormal activity, including wash trading or multi-account manipulation, are automatically disqualified.
5. Residents of restricted jurisdictions—including the United States, Canada, Japan, and Singapore—are not permitted to join.
Registration Process
1. Navigate to the Binance Futures homepage and locate the “Competitions” banner under the “Promotions” section.
2. Click on the active BNB Futures competition card and review all terms, including prize pool distribution and ranking methodology.
3. Confirm acceptance of the competition rules and click “Register Now” before the deadline.
4. Upon successful registration, a unique participant ID appears in the user’s dashboard under “My Competitions”.
5. Registration is irreversible—no opt-out or re-registration is allowed once confirmed.
Trading Mechanics During the Event
1. Only BNB/USDT perpetual futures contracts count toward leaderboard scoring—no other pairs or contract types are eligible.
2. Profit and loss calculations exclude funding fees, liquidation penalties, and insurance fund deductions.
3. Each trade must have a minimum notional value of $50 and remain open for at least 60 seconds to qualify.
4. Positions opened before registration but closed during the event period contribute to rankings only if opened after registration timestamp.
5. Leverage settings are unrestricted—users may adjust leverage between 1x and 125x without penalty or bonus effect.
Ranking & Reward Distribution
1. Rankings are updated every 15 minutes based on net PnL in USDT across all qualifying BNB futures trades.
2. The top 100 participants receive rewards distributed proportionally to their final PnL relative to the sum of top 100 PnLs.
3. Rewards are denominated in BNB and credited within 72 hours after event conclusion.
4. If two users tie for a rank, the earlier registrant receives priority placement.
5. All reward allocations are final and non-negotiable—no appeals or manual adjustments are processed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I use API keys to place trades during the competition?Yes, API trading is fully supported as long as the API permissions include 'Trade' and 'Read' access, and the API is bound to the registered account.
Q: Are cross-margin and isolated-margin positions both counted?Yes, both margin modes are accepted without distinction.
Q: What happens if my account gets margin-called during the event?Margin calls do not disqualify participation. Closed positions due to liquidation still count toward PnL calculation up to the moment of closure.
Q: Is there a cap on the number of entries per individual? No single-user limit exists—each verified account qualifies independently.
