Launched in 2013, GBTC is the oldest and largest bitcoin ETF, providing accredited investors with exposure to bitcoin.

2. Purpose Bitcoin ETF (BTCC.U): $1.6 billion AUM

Listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange in 2021, BTCC is the first physically-backed bitcoin ETF in North America.

3. Valkyrie Bitcoin Strategy ETF (BTF): $1.4 billion AUM

Launched in September 2021, BTF provides investors with exposure to bitcoin through a combination of futures contracts and bitcoin spot purchases.

4. ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF (BITO): $1.2 billion AUM

Launched in October 2021, BITO was the first bitcoin ETF to be approved by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

5. VanEck Bitcoin Strategy ETF (XBTF): $827 million AUM

Also launched in October 2021, XBTF offers investors access to bitcoin through a structure that is intended to reduce the risks associated with investing in cryptocurrency directly.
