How to Check Your Total Trading Volume on Bitget

Bitget’s trading volume is calculated per mode (spot/futures), sums quote-currency order values, excludes liquidations and P2P trades, and requires client-side aggregation via API—dashboard totals update every 90 seconds.

Accessing the Trading Dashboard

1. Log in to your Bitget account using verified credentials and two-factor authentication.

2. Navigate to the top-right corner and click on your profile icon to open the dropdown menu.

3. Select “Account Center” from the list, then choose “Trading Records” under the “Assets & History” section.

4. Ensure you are viewing the correct trading mode—either “Spot”, “Margin”, “Futures”, or “Copy Trading”—as volume is calculated separately per mode.

5. The interface displays a default date range; adjust it using the calendar widget to cover the desired period, including lifetime totals if needed.

Understanding Volume Calculation Logic

1. Bitget computes total trading volume as the sum of executed order values in quote currency, not base currency.

2. Each filled market or limit order contributes its full executed value: price × quantity × leverage (for leveraged products).

3. Cancelled, partially filled, or rejected orders do not count toward volume metrics.

4. Cross-margin and isolated-margin positions are aggregated into the same futures volume bucket if executed on the same contract pair.

5. Spot volume excludes P2P and OTC transactions, which are tracked separately under “Wallet History”.

Using the API for Historical Aggregation

1. Developers and advanced users may retrieve raw trade data via Bitget’s REST API endpoint /api/v2/spot/trade/fills with proper authentication headers.

2. Pagination parameters must be set manually since the API returns only 100 records per call by default.

3. Timestamp filtering requires ISO 8601 formatting; for lifetime volume, iterate backward from current time in 30-day chunks until no results return.

4. Volume summation must occur client-side after parsing each fill’s “price” and “size” fields—Bitget does not provide pre-aggregated totals over arbitrary intervals via API.

5. Rate limits apply: maximum 20 requests per second per API key, enforced at the IP level when unauthenticated.

Locating Volume in Referral and VIP Reports

1. Eligible users with active referral programs can view cumulative volume generated by invited traders under “Referral Center > Team Performance”.

2. VIP tier qualification depends on 30-day rolling volume; the dashboard shows real-time progress toward the next tier with exact thresholds displayed.

3. Volume used for fee discount calculations includes both maker and taker trades but excludes arbitrage bot executions flagged by Bitget’s internal detection system.

4. Users enrolled in Bitget’s “Volume Boost” campaign see an additional column labeled “Bonus Volume”, which is excluded from official tier assessments but counts toward campaign milestones.

5. Exported CSV reports contain a “volume_usd” column aligned to UTC timestamps, enabling reconciliation with external accounting tools.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does Bitget include failed margin calls or liquidation events in my trading volume? No. Liquidations are not classified as user-initiated trades and therefore do not contribute to volume calculations.

Q: If I trade BTC/USDT on both spot and USDT-M futures, are those volumes combined? No. Spot and derivatives volumes are maintained in separate ledgers and never merged in any official report or dashboard view.

Q: Can I verify volume shown in my dashboard against blockchain transaction hashes? No. Exchange-executed trades exist off-chain; only wallet deposits and withdrawals correspond to on-chain activity.

Q: Why does my API-retrieved volume differ from the dashboard total for the same date range? This occurs when cached UI data has not refreshed; dashboard figures update every 90 seconds, while API responses reflect real-time settlement state.
