How to Buy and Sell Coins on Bitget Exchange: A Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Register a Bitget Account
- Visit the Bitget official website and click "Sign Up" to create an account.
- Enter your email address and create a strong password.
- Verify your email address and complete the necessary identity verification steps.
Step 2: Fund Your Account (Deposit)
- Click "Deposit" under "My Assets" in the top navigation bar.
- Choose your preferred deposit method (e.g., bank transfer, credit card, cryptocurrency).
- Follow the instructions to complete the deposit process.
- Once the deposit is confirmed, your account will be credited with the deposited amount.
Step 3: Find the Coin You Want to Buy
- Go to the "Markets" tab and find the coin you want to buy.
- For example, to buy Bitcoin, search for "BTC/USDT" or "BTC/EUR" trading pair.
Step 4: Place a Buy Order
- In the "Order Entry" panel on the right, select "Buy."
- Enter the amount of the coin you want to buy or the amount of USDT (or other currency) you want to spend.
Choose the order type:
- Market Order: Executes immediately at the current market price.
- Limit Order: Executes only when the market price reaches your specified price.
- Click "Buy."
Step 5: Confirm and Complete the Order
- Review the order details and confirm your purchase.
- The purchased coins will be credited to your Spot Wallet.
Step 6: Sell Coins
- Find the coin you want to sell in the "Markets" tab.
- For example, to sell Bitcoin, search for "BTC/USDT" or "BTC/EUR" trading pair.
Step 7: Place a Sell Order
- In the "Order Entry" panel on the right, select "Sell."
- Enter the amount of the coin you want to sell or the amount of USDT (or other currency) you want to receive.
Choose the order type:

- Click "Sell."
Step 8: Confirm and Complete the Order

- The sold coins will be deducted from your Spot Wallet, and the proceeds will be credited to your Spot Wallet.
