How to Send BNB to Ledger Nano X: A Comprehensive Guide** in 2023
Step 1: Set Up Your Ledger Nano X Device
Prerequisites:- Ledger Nano X device
- Updated Ledger Live app
- BNB BEP2 (Binance Chain) address
- Connect your Ledger Nano X: Attach your device to your computer via USB cable and enter your PIN code.
- Install the BNB app: Open Ledger Live and search for "Binance Coin App." Click "Install" to add the app to your device.
- Open the BNB app: Navigate to the "My Apps" section on your Ledger Nano X and select the "Binance Coin" app.
Step 2: Create a Binance Chain (BEP2) Address
Instructions:- Confirm your device: Verify that the correct device name and icon appear on your Ledger Nano X screen.
- Open the BNB app: Navigate to the "Binance Coin" app on your device.
- Select "Receive": Choose the "Receive" option to display your BNB BEP2 address.
- Write down the address: Record the displayed address for future reference. Alternatively, you can scan the QR code using your mobile device's camera.
Step 3: Transfer BNB from Binance to Ledger Nano X
Prerequisites:- BNB stored on Binance exchange account
- BNB BEP2 withdrawal enabled on Binance
- Log into Binance: Visit the Binance website or open the mobile app and log into your account.
- Navigate to Withdraw: Select "Wallet" and then choose "Withdraw."
- Select BNB and BEP2 network: Choose "BNB" as the coin and "BNB BEP2" as the network.
- Enter the Ledger BNB address: Paste the BNB BEP2 address you created in Step 2 into the "Address" field.
- Enter the withdrawal amount: Specify the amount of BNB you want to send to your Ledger Nano X.
- Confirm the transaction: Review the withdrawal details carefully and then click "Withdraw."
- Approve the withdrawal on your Ledger: You will be prompted to confirm the withdrawal on your Ledger Nano X device. Verify the details and press the "Confirm" button on your device.
Step 4: Verify the Transaction on Your Ledger Nano X
Instructions:- Navigate to the BNB app: Go to the "Binance Coin" app on your Ledger Nano X.
- Select "Transactions": Choose the "Transactions" option to view the list of recent transactions.
- Locate the deposit: Identify the incoming BNB transaction based on the amount and time.
Additional Notes:
- Ensure that you send BNB using the BEP2 network. Sending BNB on a different network may result in the loss of funds.
- Double-check the BNB address before initiating the transaction. Sending BNB to an incorrect address may lead to permanent loss.
