Nov 06, 2024 at 05:34 am
Raydium is a decentralized exchange (DEX) built on the Solana blockchain. It allows users to trade cryptocurrencies quickly and securely, without the need for an intermediary. Raydium is known for its low fees, fast transaction speeds, and user-friendly interface.
How Raydium Works1. Connecting to Raydium- Visit the Raydium website or download the Raydium mobile app.
- Connect your Solana wallet (such as Phantom or Solflare) to Raydium.
- The trading pairs available on Raydium vary based on market demand and liquidity.
- Use the search bar to find the trading pair you're interested in. For example, to trade Serum (SRM) against USD Coin (USDC), search for the trading pair "SRM-USDC".
- Limit Orders: Execute trades at a specific price. Enter the quantity and price you wish to buy or sell.
- Market Orders: Buy or sell assets immediately at the current market price. Click on the "Buy" or "Sell" button to execute a market order.
- Once your order is placed, it will appear in the "Open Orders" tab.
- You can track the status of your order, including whether it has been filled or partially filled.
- When your order is filled, the assets are automatically settled on the Solana blockchain.
- No external custody is required; the assets remain in your Solana wallet.
- Low Fees: Raydium charges minimal fees for trades, making it a cost-effective exchange.
- Fast Transactions: Raydium leverages Solana's high transaction throughput, resulting in fast order execution.
- Wide Selection of Assets: Raydium supports a growing number of cryptocurrencies and trading pairs.
