BitDAO (BIT) launched on June 16, 2021, with an initial coin offering (ICO) price of $0.10. The ICO raised $230 million, selling 2.3 billion BIT tokens out of a total supply of 10 billion.
Issue VolumeThe total supply of BitDAO is 10 billion tokens, with the following distribution:
- 1 billion tokens (10%) allocated to the BitDAO Treasury
- 2 billion tokens (20%) allocated to the BitDAO Ecosystem Reserve
- 2 billion tokens (20%) allocated to the BitDAO Developer Fund
- 2.3 billion tokens (23%) sold in the ICO
- 2.5 billion tokens (25%) allocated to the BitDAO Foundation
- 120 million tokens (1.2%) allocated to the Early Access Program
The distribution of BitDAO tokens is designed to ensure a fair and equitable distribution of the tokens, with a significant portion allocated to the BitDAO Treasury and other initiatives to support the long-term growth and development of the BitDAO ecosystem.
