2. Total Supply

The total supply of TRX coins is 100,000,000,000 TRX, of which 99,215,810,000 TRX were initially issued during the ICO. The remaining 784,190,000 TRX were reserved for future development and ecosystem growth.

3. Token Distribution

The distribution of TRX tokens is as follows:

40% (40,000,000,000 TRX): Public ICO
35% (35,000,000,000 TRX): Tron Foundation (for development and operations)
10% (10,000,000,000 TRX): Founding team and advisors
15% (15,000,000,000 TRX): Future development and ecosystem growth

4. Circulation

As of February 2023, approximately 92,722,281,341 TRX coins are in circulation, representing over 92% of the total supply. The remaining supply is held by the Tron Foundation and other stakeholders for future use.

5. Burn Mechanism

TRX employs a unique burning mechanism known as TRX Power (TP). TP is a virtual resource that is consumed when certain transactions or operations are performed on the Tron blockchain.
