Can BNB Beacon Chain be Withdrawn?

Yes, you can withdraw from the BNB Beacon Chain (BEACON). Here is a detailed guide:

Prerequisite

  • Install a Keplr or Math Wallet Browser Extension
  • Create a BSC wallet on Keplr or Math Wallet
  • Deposit BNB to the BSC wallet

Unbonding from the Beacon Chain

  1. Go to the Binance Chain website (https://www.binance.org/en/staking)
  2. Connect your Keplr or Math Wallet extension to the Binance Chain website
  3. Click on "Staking" in the top menu
  4. Switch to the "BEACON" tab
  5. Click on the "Withdraw" button next to the validator you want to unbond from
  6. Enter the amount of BNB you want to unbond and click on the "Withdraw" button
  7. Confirm the transaction in your Keplr or Math Wallet extension

Once the transaction is confirmed, the BNB will be removed from your bonded balance and will be in an "unbonding" state. It will take 7 days for the BNB to become available for withdrawal.

Withdrawing from the Beacon Chain

  1. After 7 days, go back to the Binance Chain website and click on the "Withdraw" button next to the validator you unbonded from
  2. Click on the "Withdraw" button in the confirmation pop-up
  3. Confirm the transaction in your Keplr or Math Wallet extension

Once the transaction is confirmed, the BNB will be sent to your BSC wallet.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Can BEACON-deposited BNB be Unbonded in Parts?

Yes, BNB deposited on the BEACON can be withdrawn in parts by following the above steps. The unbonding period, however, will still apply for the withdrawn portion.

How Often Can BEACON Deposits be Unbonded?

Unstaking from BEACON requires an initial waiting period of seven days. After that, you can unbond as and when you need to, even on consecutive days.

What Should I do if I Accidentally Withdraw from the Wrong Validator?

If you withdraw from the wrong validator, the withdrawal process will be reversed, and the intended validator will not get your BNB. In such cases, you should contact support at support@binance.org for assistance.

Why was Withdrawal Cancelled?

Sometimes, your withdrawal might not go through due to network congestion. Fortunately, you can resolve this by adjusting your gas fees within your wallet's extension settings. Try increasing the gas provided to the network until the transaction goes through.

Are There any Other Platforms to Withdraw BNB BEACON Deposits?

As of now, the native Binance Chain website (https://www.binance.org/en/staking) remains the only platform where you can withdraw BNB BEACON deposits.
