Worldcoin (WLD) price has surged by 10% in the last 24 hours, following a major $135 million capital raise by the World Foundation, the non-profit developing the iris-based identity network.

According to World Foundation’s official fundraising announcement on May 21, the funds will be used to expand its World ID network. Leading the round were Andreessen Horowitz and Bain Capital Crypto, who purchased WLD tokens at market value, thus increasing the supply of tokens in circulation.
