Crypto company Tether, the issuer of the $140 billion crypto stablecoin USDT, is working on an artificial intelligence (AI) platform set to debut early next year, according to an X post by CEO Paolo Ardoino on Friday.

"Just got the draft of the site for Tether's AI platform. Coming soon, targeting end Q1 2025," Ardoino posted.

Tether is best known for issuing USDT, the most widely used stablecoin in the market. However, under Ardoino's leadership, the company has taken significant steps to broaden its operations beyond stablecoin minting this year.
