New York, United States - Kraken, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, has emerged as a significant beneficiary of the recent surge in spot-Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs), which debuted in the United States in January and were introduced in Hong Kong earlier this week.

The company licenses its benchmarks to these funds in exchange for fees that typically increase in proportion to the assets under management (AUM).

According to CF Benchmarks, it holds approximately 50% of the crypto benchmarking market and is collaborating with the newly launched Bitcoin ETFs in Hong Kong. CEO Sui Chung anticipates the expansion of crypto ETFs into South Korea and Israel.

On Wednesday, the collective group of nearly a dozen U.S. products experienced their largest daily net outflow, reducing their AUM to approximately $47 billion.

Additionally, CF Benchmarks plans to increase its workforce by approximately one-third, reaching a total of over 40 employees.
