President Donald Trump met with the top holders of his meme coin on Thursday night. The top 220 people who hold the $Trump token were invited to the event at the Trump National Golf Club outside Washington, DC.

At the event, Trump thanked the crowd for their support and spoke about the administration’s efforts to support the crypto industry.

The crypto billionaire said he was gifted a Trump Tourbillon watch, which retails for $100,000. The top 25 holders were treated to a more intimate reception with Trump.

The event came after the Securities and Exchange Commission charged Sun with fraud, manipulating the market for Tronix or TRX crypto. The SEC chair at the time, Gary Gensler, said in a statement that Sun allegedly deceived investors.
