Galaxy Digital has staked nearly $3 million worth of SOL to their validator node on the Solana blockchain network. This influx of staked assets is set to propel Galaxy to the top spot as the number one validator on Solana within the next 16 hours, surpassing Coinbase in the process.

According to market observers, the sudden increase in staking power can be attributed to the ongoing FTX estate sale. The sale has seen a substantial amount of assets being liquidated, including holdings of SOL. Galaxy appears to have been a key beneficiary of this redistribution.
