ConstitutionDAO, a group of web3 enthusiasts, banded together in 2021 to acquire a copy of the United States Constitution from Sotheby's Auction House. This initiative, operating under the banner of a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO), harnessed community power to amass a vast financial resource. However, their bid ultimately fell short, highlighting both the potential and challenges inherent in cryptocurrency-based community projects.

Enter PEOPLE Coin, a cryptocurrency at the heart of ConstitutionDAO's endeavors. This token played a pivotal role in the governance and operation of the DAO. Through the PEOPLE token, participants gained the ability to partake in the DAO's decision-making processes and contribute to its governance. Funds were allocated to various functions of the DAO and to rewarding participants with this token.

The PEOPLE Coin was utilized to foster the inner workings of the DAO and community engagement. Participants could use PEOPLE tokens to vote on the DAO's decisions, directing the use of funds and supporting projects. This enabled community members to actively participate in the project and have their voices heard.

PEOPLE Coin was used as both a governance and reward token within ConstitutionDAO. Participants could use PEOPLE tokens to vote on the DAO's decisions, direct the use of funds, and support projects. Additionally, the PEOPLE token served as a contribution from DAO members to the project and enabled a more democratic structure in the DAO's decision-making processes.

After the auction, it was decided to dissolve the DAO and return the donations. However, the PEOPLE coin continues to be traded on some platforms and attracts the interest of the community. This serves as an indication of how community-backed projects and cryptocurrencies can evolve over time.

Currently, PEOPLE Coin price today is $0.08908. In the last month, the PEOPLE Coin price has increased by about 12 percent. Over the last year, PEOPLE Coin has seen a 647 percent increase in its price. This rapid rise in value showcases the growing trust and interest in PEOPLE Coin. However, price fluctuations are to be expected given the volatile nature of cryptocurrency markets.

According to experts, PEOPLE Coin is expected to appreciate further in the long run with community support and integration of projects. If the DAO continues to be supported by the community and is integrated into new projects, the price of PEOPLE Coin could reach $0.15. This increase could be driven by the expanding use cases of the cryptocurrency and increased activity within the community.
