Major cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has announced that it has lost 560 million dollars due to a cyberattack. According to the exchange, a cold wallet containing Ethereum (ETH) was compromised, enabling an attacker to transfer the funds to an unidentified hot wallet.

This ruse allowed the attacker to gain control of the affected wallet and drain 560 million dollars.
